Regular gas was sold at the lowest price of $2.19 per gallon at two gas stations in Henry County during the week ending Jan. 10, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The average reported price of regular gas across the county was $2.30 per gallon.
Of the 23 reported gas stations in cities within Henry County, 19 offered regular gas.
Across Tennessee, the average reported price for a gallon of regular gas rose to $2.45, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration expects global oil stockpiles to keep growing into 2026, a trend that could weigh on crude prices in the near term.
