Obion County had two gas stations selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.48 per gallon during the week ending Jan. 10, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, regular gas averaged $2.54 per gallon.
Of the 20 reported gas stations located within Obion County, 10 offered regular gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of regular gas in Tennessee was $2.45, up from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
