Rep. David Kustoff, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 8th district since 2017, has recently made several announcements via social media.
On June 10, 2025, Kustoff congratulated Stephen Vaden from Obion County on his confirmation as Deputy Secretary of the USDA. “Congratulations to my friend from Obion County, Stephen Vaden for being confirmed as Deputy Secretary of the @USDA.” Kustoff expressed confidence in Vaden’s ability to support America’s farmers, noting his background as a farmer himself.
Later that day, Kustoff shared his meeting with Maggie Wright and her family from Madison County. “Great to meet with this year’s Congressional Art Competition winner, Maggie Wright and her family from Madison County.” He looked forward to seeing her artwork titled “Tennessee Scenes” displayed in the U.S. Capitol over the coming year.
On June 11, 2025, Kustoff highlighted legislative efforts aimed at reducing bureaucratic hurdles through what he referred to as the One Big, Beautiful Bill. “That’s right — the One Big, Beautiful Bill cuts red tape and makes it easier for companies to bring jobs back home.”
David Kustoff was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1966 and currently resides in Germantown. He holds both a BA (1989) and a JD (1992) from the University of Memphis.
