On July 23, 2025, Kustoff posted about a major international agreement: “.@POTUS just sealed a $550B deal with Japan! This means more jobs, increased trade, and a stronger alliance between the U.S. and Japan. Thank you, President Trump, for working tirelessly for America! “

Kustoff has represented Tennessee’s 8th congressional district since 2017 after succeeding Stephen Fincher. He was born in Memphis in 1966 and currently resides in Germantown. His educational background includes both undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Memphis.
