He stated, “Earlier I went on @BBCNews with @SumiSomaskanda to explain why the One Big Beautiful Bill is exactly what America needs.” He emphasized Republican priorities such as securing borders and reducing waste.
Later that day, Kustoff urged immediate action regarding the bill, expressing optimism about its potential benefits. In a tweet at 07:55 UTC, he declared, “NOW is the time to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill! Tax cuts, jobs, & a stronger America—let’s make it happen today! “
In another tweet at 08:54 UTC, Kustoff described standing alongside Speaker Johnson and Ways and Means GOP Chairman Jason Smith to advocate for the bill on the House Floor. He highlighted its role in preventing a significant tax increase while promoting growth-focused policies: “This morning, I stood beside @SpeakerJohnson and @WaysandMeansGOP Chairman @RepJasonSmith to speak in favor of the One Big Beautiful Bill on the House Floor.”
