Congressman David Kustoff has expressed his support following the House of Representatives’ passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill. In a statement, Kustoff emphasized that the legislation fulfills promises made to Americans by delivering tax relief and supporting economic growth.
Kustoff highlighted that the bill aims to make permanent key provisions from the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. It includes measures such as no taxes on tips, overtime, and social security, which align with former President Trump’s agenda. The Congressman believes these changes will benefit small businesses by reducing their tax burden and providing families with an enhanced Child Tax Credit.
Additionally, Kustoff stated that the bill addresses various national issues including border security, domestic energy production, and workforce participation among able-bodied Americans. He noted that it seeks to create a more efficient federal government while executing significant spending reductions.
