The Ohio Valley Conference announced on May 17 that the field is set for the 2026 OVC Baseball Championship, which will take place from May 19 to May 23 at Mtn Dew Park in Marion, Illinois.
The event is significant as it marks the 47th edition of the OVC Baseball Tournament, first held in an elimination format in 1979. The tournament continues its tradition at a neutral site and brings together top collegiate baseball teams from the conference.
Mtn Dew Park, previously known as Rent One Park and home to the Prospect League team Thrillville Thrillbillies since 2023, will host the event for a fifth time. The venue has been contracted to hold the championship through at least 2029. Since moving off campus sites in 2001, previous host cities have included Paducah (Kentucky), Jackson (Tennessee), Oxford (Alabama), and Lexington (Kentucky).
Tickets are available both online and at Mtn Dew Park. All-session passes cost $30; daily admission is $10 per adult and $5 per child or college student with valid ID. All seating is general admission during the championship.
This year’s bracket features two single elimination games on Tuesday, followed by double elimination rounds starting Thursday when top seeds enter play. The full schedule lists matchups beginning with Lindenwood versus UT Martin and Morehead State versus Southern Indiana on opening day. Fans can watch every game live on ESPN+, which requires a subscription either monthly or annually or via bundled services.
