Rep. David Kustoff, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 8th district since 2017, has shared his views on various topics through recent tweets. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1966 and currently residing in Germantown, Kustoff graduated from the University of Memphis with both a BA and JD.
On June 13, 2025, Kustoff addressed international security concerns by stating “Iran is a state sponsor of terror, funding those who seek the destruction of Israel.” He emphasized Israel’s right to self-defense and expressed support for efforts to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
In another post dated June 14, 2025, he commemorated a significant milestone for the U.S. military by tweeting “Happy 250th Birthday, @USArmy! “ He extended gratitude to those who have served in defense of freedom globally over the past two and a half centuries.
Later that day on June 14, he celebrated former President Donald Trump’s birthday with a tweet that stated “They said lightning doesn’t strike twice… but they didn’t count on @realDonaldTrump.” The message highlighted Trump as both the 45th and 47th President of the United States.
