Rep. David Kustoff, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 8th district since 2017, recently shared several updates via social media on legislative priorities and engagements with law enforcement. Born in Memphis in 1966, Kustoff has been active in Congress following his education at the University of Memphis.
On May 19, 2025, Rep. Kustoff emphasized the significance of passing President Trump’s proposed legislation, referred to as “One Big Beautiful Bill.” He stated that it would be “one of the most consequential votes the @HouseGOP will take,” highlighting its potential to reduce taxes for families, farms, and small businesses.
