Rep. David Kustoff, who represents Tennessee’s 8th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on recent meetings and events through a series of posts on his official social media account.
On April 15, 2026, Kustoff wrote about visiting researchers at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: “It was good meeting with researchers at @StJudeResearch including Dr. Jason Hodges, PhD, and Alissa Jackson from Shelby County. Thank you for the work you do advancing critical research at St. Jude.”
The following day, he posted about an encounter with a local pharmacy executive: “It was good seeing Dr. Jay Phipps, President & CEO of Phipps Pharmacy, from Carroll County. Thank you for stopping by!” This message was published on April 16, 2026.
Later that morning, Kustoff referenced his participation in a Holocaust Remembrance Day event co-hosted with the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and Rep. Schneider: “This morning, I hosted an event with the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and @RepSchneider to commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day. Thank you to the survivors who joined us and shared their powerful stories. We will never forget the horrors of the Holocaust and the six million”. The post also expressed gratitude toward survivors who attended.
Kustoff has served as a member of Congress since 2017 after succeeding Stephen Fincher as representative for Tennessee’s 8th district (https://kustoff.house.gov/about). He was born in Memphis in 1966 and currently resides in Germantown; he holds both undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Memphis.
