On Saturday, March 29, former Humboldt High School standout RJ Abernathy’s current college team, the New Mexico Highlands Cowboys, lost 17-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UCCS Mountain Lions.

The game took place at Brandt Field. This was their third matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.

The Cowboys’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 12 p.m. at Brandt Field against UCCS Mountain Lions.
