Lane College Basketball home opener set for Tuesday night

The Lane College men's basketball team will open their home slate on Tuesday night in J.F. Lane Gymnasium when they host new SIAC member Edward Waters. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

The game is the first of what is a four game home stand for the Dragons, three of which are against conference opponents. The exception will be this Thursday when Lane hosts Lincoln University of California, who is led by NBA legend Gary Payton.

Visits from Benedict and Allen wrap up the November schedule as Lane will hit the road for its first three games of December.

The Dragons will host Tougaloo, Clark Atlanta, and Morehouse to round out the first half of their 2022-23 schedule.

Miles College comes to Jackson on January 7th which kicks off 12 straight games against SIAC West opponents.

Lane's final home game will come against division rival LeMoyne-Owen on Saturday, February 11th.

Admission prices for home basketball games are $15 for adults, $10 for students aged 6-18, and free for Lane students with current ID.
