Freed-Hardeman University Jackson Bennett tabbed Champion of Character, Lions lead MSC with Academic All-Conference

The 2023 Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Champions of Character team has been released, conference officials announced on Wednesday.

The MSC recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.

Bethel's (Tenn.) Tyler Neely, Campbellsville's (Ky.) Jordan Graham, Cumberland's (Tenn.) Isaac Stephens, Cumberlands' (Ky.) Isiah Payton, Freed-Hardeman's (Tenn.) Jackson Bennett, Georgetown's (Ky.) Jaquay Wales, Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Lucas Ribeiro, Pikeville's (Ky.) Jacob Brown, Shawnee State's (Ohio) Felix Uadiale, Tennessee Southern's Titus Griffin, Thomas More's (Ky.) Riley Haubner and Wilberforce's (Ohio) Jamir Hymes all earned the honor.Forcht Bank is the proud sponsor of the Mid-South Conference Champions of Character Program.
