Inclement Weather Closings | Dyersburg State Community College

The Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) Alumni Association recognized the men’s and women’s basketball sophomores and honored past alumni during the last home game on Saturday, February 25.

The student-athletes were recognized for their academic standing and performance on the court for the 2022-2023 season. The men’s basketball sophomores include Wynton Brown of Carson, CA, Greg Gordon of Chicago, IL, Tamarion Isom of Dyersburg, TN , Jeff Norment of Whiteville, TN, and Tray Swift of Dyersburg, TN. The women’s basketball sophomores include Chionne Dailey of Peoria, IL, Imani Evans of Pascagoula, MS, Blakely Mink of Newbern, TN, Adriana Skinner of Trenton, TN, and Tiarah Starks of Dallas, TX.

David James, former Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach, was honored on Alumni Day for his dedication to the basketball program in 1989-1991. James was introduced by former basketball players Sarah Alley and Melissa Johnson. Alley expressed her gratitude to James for being a great women’s basketball team assistant coach. In addition, DSCC Alumni enjoyed fellowship with the student-athletes and other fellow alumni in attendance for the game.
