Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) will host a Bunny Hop & Hunt 5K and 1-Mile Walk on April 15 at 7 a.m. on the Dyersburg campus. Proceeds will benefit student programs, activities and scholarships for the College’s Student Government Association (SGA) and Alpha Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society. Race categories include a 5K and 1-Mile Run and Walk. Each 5K runner and 1-mile walk participant will receive a medal and a t-shirt if registered before March 20, 2023, and each 1-mile run or walk team participant will receive one medal and t-shirt per team.
Race fees for the 5K are $25 for individuals or $25 for DSCC students if registered before March 13, 2023. Fees for the 1-mile walk are $25 per person. Family entries are $45 per team, up to five participants. For those who register after March 13, the fees will be $35 for 5K individuals, $35 for 1-mile walk individuals, $30 for students, and $60 for a family (up to five participants).
Participants who register by March 20 will receive a medal. In addition, teams will receive one t-shirt for their team captain. Additional shirts will be sold for $20 and can be purchased during the online registration process.
In-person registration/check-in will begin at 6:00 a.m. on race day.
The egg hunt will begin at 8:30 a.m. for age groups 1-3 year olds, 4-6 year olds, and 7-10 year olds. Each participant will need to bring their own basket (BYOB). The egg hunt is a free event and open to the community.
