Congressman David Kustoff has been sworn in to serve Tennessee's Eighth Congressional District in the 119th Congress. In a statement, Congressman Kustoff expressed his commitment to representing West Tennessee and outlined his priorities for his term.
"It is my greatest honor to represent West Tennessee in the House of Representatives for the 119th Congress," said Congressman Kustoff. He emphasized his focus on supporting farmers, securing the border, and passing tax provisions aimed at strengthening the economy.
Kustoff highlighted the Republican majority in both chambers of Congress and President Donald Trump's presence in the White House as significant factors shaping this new legislative period. "With a Republican majority in both the House and the Senate, and President Donald Trump in the White House, we are ushering in a new era in America," he stated. He also expressed gratitude for being West Tennessee's voice in Washington.
