Congressman David Kustoff, a Republican from Tennessee, has announced his assignment to two subcommittees within the House Committee on Ways and Means for the 119th Congress. He will serve on both the Subcommittee on Tax and the Subcommittee on Health.
"I am honored to serve on the Subcommittees on Tax and Health within the Ways and Means Committee for the 119th Congress," said Congressman Kustoff. "These important subcommittees are vital to the health, prosperity, and wellbeing of all Americans. I am committed to working with my colleagues to advance pro-growth tax policies and bolster our healthcare system for families across West Tennessee and the entire nation."
The House Committee on Ways and Means is recognized as the oldest committee in the United States Congress. It holds jurisdiction over areas such as tax, trade, healthcare, Social Security, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and support for low-income families.
