Rep. David Kustoff reflects on meetings with Tennessee community leaders

U.S. Representative David Kustoff, serving Tennessee's 8th district, recently shared insights into his engagements with local leaders via Twitter. Kustoff, who has served in Congress since replacing Stephen Fincher in 2017, often emphasizes his connection with community leaders and his dedication to addressing local issues.

On April 17, 2025, Kustoff expressed gratitude after meeting with Benton County Sheriff Kenny Christopher, Benton County Mayor Mark Ward, and Camden Mayor Roger Pafford. He stated, "I enjoyed meeting with Benton County Sheriff Kenny Christopher, Benton County Mayor Mark Ward, and Camden Mayor Roger Pafford. I appreciate your service and dedication to our community!".

The following day, April 18, 2025, Kustoff met with Huntingdon Mayor Chad Edwards and Chief of Police Jason Oliver in Carroll County. He acknowledged the opportunity by stating, "Today, I met with Huntingdon Mayor Chad Edwards and Chief of Police Jason Oliver in Carroll County. Thank you for having me!".

Later on April 18, 2025, Kustoff addressed an event organized by the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce. He conveyed his appreciation, saying, "Thank you to President Brad Hurley and Carroll County Chamber of Commerce for inviting me to speak at this year’s Good Friday Capitol Talk. I appreciated the opportunity to meet with Carroll County’s leaders and discuss the important issues facing our community."

In addition to his professional duties, Kustoff, aged 56, has a personal background rooted in Tennessee. Born in Memphis in 1966, Kustoff lives in Germantown and holds both a bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis.
