Dyersburg State Community College Now Accepting Honors Program Enrollments

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) is enrolling for the first honors program. The program has been redesigned to better meet the needs of students wishing to graduate with honors.

Students must acquire a minimum ACT score of 22 in Math and English or have completed 12 hours of college credit and maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Students can speak with their advisor to register for one or multiple of the following courses in spring 2023: Fundamentals of Communications (Comm 2025), Introduction to Ethics (Phil 1040), Introduction to Art (ART 1030), and English Composition 2 (Engl 1020). Students graduating with honors must complete four honors courses and a 1-hour capstone course in Humanities 201 successfully.

For more information about the program, students may contact their advisor or Brian Wells at wells@dscc.edu.
