Rep. David Kustoff, representing Tennessee's 8th Congressional District since 2017, recently shared a series of social media posts on various topics reflecting his political stance and legislative initiatives. Rep. Kustoff, who was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and earned his educational degrees from the University of Memphis, has been a part of the U.S. Congress following the departure of his predecessor, Stephen Fincher.

On March 27, 2025, Rep. Kustoff expressed his views on law enforcement, emphasizing the importance of allowing officials to perform their duties unimpeded. He credited several figures for their efforts to enhance national safety, stating, "This is what happens when you let law enforcement do their jobs. Thank you to @POTUS @realDonaldTrump and @AGPamBondi for working to Make America Safe Again!"

Later that day, Rep. Kustoff highlighted the issue of "swatting," a dangerous practice involving the false reporting of emergencies that require SWAT team responses. In a post linked to an op-ed, he noted, "OP-ED: Swatting is a dangerous trend that endangers lives, wastes emergency resources, and undermines public safety. My bill, the Preserving Safe Communities by Ending Swatting Act, would impose strict penalties for swatting."

On March 28, 2025, Rep. Kustoff shared his appreciation for the work being conducted at St. Jude, after meeting with Dr. Andrew Smith, who is the Chair of Radiology at the institution. He commented on their meeting saying, "I appreciated meeting with Dr. Andrew Smith, Chair of Radiology at @StJude. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and tell me about your important work caring for patients and advancing cutting edge research."
