78.2% of Obion County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 30,722 citizens living in Obion County in 2021, 78.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 24,008 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 11,531 were male, constituting 48%, and 12,477 were female, making up 52%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Obion County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.6%.
