Rep. David Kustoff, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 8th district, shared several updates through his social media posts in March 2025. Kustoff has been in office since 2017, succeeding Stephen Fincher. Born in Memphis and residing in Germantown, Kustoff holds a BA and JD from the University of Memphis.

On March 16, 2025, Rep. Kustoff congratulated local high school basketball teams on their recent victories. He stated, "Congratulations to the 2025 @TSSAA Division 1 Class 1A Girls Basketball State Champions @GfieldGBB and Division I Class 2A Girls Basketball State Champions @WestviewGBB! Great to see two trophies come home to Weakley County & #TN08!"

On March 17, 2025, he discussed his participation at an agricultural event with local farmers. He noted, "It was great to speak at the Four County Farm Bureau and hear directly from farmers in Fayette, McNairy, Haywood, and Hardeman Counties. Agriculture is the backbone of West TN." He expressed appreciation for the farmers' contributions to the community.

In another post on March 17, Rep. Kustoff addressed concerns about swatting incidents by introducing legislative measures. He emphasized the issue's seriousness by stating "This is yet another example of how swatting endangers lives & wastes valuable law enforcement resources." He highlighted his introduction of a bipartisan bill aimed at curbing such incidents.
