Kustoff has been a congressional representative since 2017, succeeding Stephen Fincher. Born in Memphis and residing in Germantown, he holds degrees from the University of Memphis.
On March 21, 2025, Rep. Kustoff tweeted about his meeting with Obion County officials: "I appreciated meeting with Obion County Mayor Steve Carr and County Sheriff Karl Jackson. Thank you for supporting and protecting families and businesses across our community."
Later that day, he announced his visit to Lake County via another tweet: "Next Stop → Lake County.
