David Kustoff discusses tax cuts and praises local talent in recent updates

Rep. David Kustoff, representing Tennessee’s 8th district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, has been actively addressing various concerns affecting his constituents as evident from several recent social media updates. Born in Memphis and a resident of Germantown, Kustoff has dedicated his public service career to legislative actions and community engagement.

On April 16, 2025, Kustoff highlighted the potential economic impact of expiring tax cuts instituted by former President Donald Trump. Derek runs multiple independent pharmacies across West Tennessee. Thank you for sitting down with me to discuss the issues facing our pharmacists."

On April 17, 2025, he celebrated young artistic talent in his district, mentioning, "I had the honor of hosting the 2025 Congressional Art Competition reception at the West TN Regional Art Center in Gibson County. David Kustoff’s background encompasses both academic achievements and extensive legislative experience, adding depth to his public service role. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 1989 and a Juris Doctor in 1992, both from the University of Memphis.
