Tennessee's Rep. David Kustoff introduces bills supporting communities and law enforcement

Rep. David Kustoff, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee's 8th district, has recently shared updates on his activities and legislative efforts through a series of tweets. His social media posts provide insights into his engagements with community members and initiatives in Congress.

On February 12, 2025, Rep. Kustoff met with Tennessee members of Keep America Beautiful. He highlighted his meeting with Collierville Alderman Missy Marshall from Shelby County, Steve and Anastasia Barlow from Shelby County, Bobby Fitzhugh from Dyer County, and Dale Dozier from Dyer County. He expressed appreciation for their contributions to the community: "This afternoon, I met with Tennessee members of Keep America Beautiful... I appreciate all you do to…"

The following day, February 13, 2025, Rep. Kustoff announced that the Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act had passed the House of Representatives with his support. He noted: "The Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act just passed the House of Representatives with my support." He expressed pride in helping introduce this bill aimed at protecting Border Patrol and law enforcement officers.

Later on February 13, Rep. Kustoff introduced a new piece of legislation titled the Investing in Our Communities Act alongside fellow representatives Rudy Yakym, Gwen Moore, and Jimmy Panetta. This bill is designed to provide state and local governments with resources to foster economic development: "NEW BILL: I introduced the Investing in Our Communities Act in the House..."
