Rep. David Kustoff, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 8th district, has been active on social media addressing significant issues. Born in Memphis and a graduate of the University of Memphis, Kustoff has served since 2017 after succeeding Stephen Fincher.

On February 20, 2025, Rep. Kustoff expressed his condolences following an attack by Hamas terrorists. He stated: "The world has once again seen the true evil of Hamas terrorists with the brutal murders of Shiri Bibas, her young children Ariel and Kfir, and Oded Lifshitz." He further added that he and his wife mourn with their loved ones and all of Israel.

Later that day, Kustoff announced his collaboration with Rep. Feenstra to introduce new legislation aimed at tax reform. He tweeted: "I joined @RepFeenstra in introducing the Death Tax Repeal Act, which will help protect families, farmers, & small businesses from unnecessary taxes upon the death of a family member." The proposed act is intended to preserve family businesses for future generations.

On February 21, 2025, Rep. Kustoff advocated for comprehensive legislative action on national issues during a radio appearance. He remarked: "Congress must pass one big, beautiful bill that will secure our border, restore American energy dominance, & extend the 2017 Trump tax cuts that are set to expire." This statement was made during his discussion on WKWX Radio in Hardin County about ongoing efforts by House Republicans.
