Rep. David Kustoff, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee's 8th district, shared insights from his recent engagements in Shelby County through a series of tweets on February 21, 2025. These posts highlighted meetings with local business leaders and officials to discuss various priorities and initiatives.

On February 21, Rep. Kustoff expressed gratitude towards Midsouth Solutions Owner Tracy Mansfield for a meeting held that day in Shelby County. He appreciated the opportunity to discuss priorities related to an upcoming tax package in Congress. "Thank you to Midsouth Solutions Owner Tracy Mansfield for meeting with me today in Shelby County."

Later that day, Rep. Kustoff toured a Kroger location in Shelby County where he met with Kroger Health Dietitian Kara Miller, Deputy Director of Government Relations Evan Sarris, and Division Associate Communications Manager George Brown. He commended Kroger's focus on nutrition and wellness during his visit. "It was great to tour @kroger in Shelby County and meet with Kroger Health Dietitian Kara Miller..."

In another engagement on the same date, Rep. Kustoff met with several municipal mayors from Shelby County including Collierville Mayor Maureen Fraser, Germantown Mayor Mike Palazzolo, Arlington Mayor Mike Wissman, Lakeland Mayor Josh Roman, and Bartlett Mayor David Parsons. He acknowledged their leadership and dedication to the community during these discussions."I enjoyed meeting with Shelby County Municipal Mayors..."
